Testing & Performance Data

Performance claims should come with numbers. Below are the published test results for each grade.

Salt spray test

Parts are exposed to a salt fog in a closed chamber; hours to first rust measure film resistance. Common references include ASTM B117, ISO 9227 and GB/T 10125.

Humidity test

Parts are held at 40 °C in a high-humidity cabinet to simulate storage and transport. Commonly referenced methods include GB/T 2361 and ASTM D1748.

Film thickness, flash point, viscosity

The KG-3 technical data sheet cites SH/T 0105 (film thickness), GB/T 261 (flash point), GB/T 265 (viscosity) and SH/T 0211 (service temperature).

Test results depend on substrate, surface condition, film thickness and application. They are typical values, not guarantees; request the current TDS before specifying.
